Speed run of Pikmin getting all 30 parts in 9 game days, with only the minimum required 50 pikmin, and no deaths completed on August 16 2004. Amazingly the minimal number of days with any number of pikmin is 9 days, so the minimalist/low% game can be done just as fast, as this demonstrates. Day 1 was not recorded as it is obvious, but an equivalent recording is available.

Let's start out with big congratulations to Sess, who finally found a way to crack DS and bring it down to 2 days. I believe he was also the first one to officially complete this challenge all the way through. My strategies for days 5 and 7 in the Distant Spring are based almost entirely on his.

This only took a few days to produce, and most of the runs are very nice. Due to many complaints, I didn't spin the camera rapidly for these runs when I had time to kill (I do, however, change the camera angle a lotthat's just the way I play).

The two hardest runs are days 3 and 5. This run of day 3 was not quite as smooth as the day 3 of the 10/50 taping (which was pretty much flawless), but its passable. This run of day 5 turned out very well though (although the level had to be replayed many, many times due to the random factors of the Snitchbugs). Available in three versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60 fps high quality.
